Eid in the Park – Family Day

Eid salaat starts promptly at 10.15 am followed by the Eid khutbah by Sulayman Van Ael.

This will take place on either 4th or 5th June 2019 depending on sighting of moon for Eid.

The KMA announcement will be made after Maghreb salaat on 29th Ramadaan (Monday 3rd June 2019) on the Kingston Mosque website, Mobile app, Facebook page and Telegram channel.

Parking available in the Stadium. Please arrive early and park with consideration.

Other transport: Bus 131 get off at Kingsmeadow stop

Message to all attending the Eid salaat:
There will be plastic sheeting to cover the ground but please bring your own prayer mat and stool/ chair if required.

There will be some chairs for the elderly but we cannot guarantee enough for everyone who needs one.

You may also bring your picnic blanket.

Food stalls will be available:
– Cakes
– Moroccan Sweets
– Halwa puri
– Burgers
– Kebabs
– Popcorn
– Candy floss
– Tea / Coffee
– Juices and drinks
– A sweet stall especially for the children

Come and enjoy the day with family and friends.

There will be fairground rides for children (carousel, soft play centre, bungee trampolines, tea cup rides and mini bumper cars).

For anyone not able to attend the Eid in the Park salaat, there will be one Eid prayer held at Kingston Masjid at 0700 in the morning.

Please note the prayer will start at 0700 promptly
